Initial Ideas

This was the very first idea that came up when the Chester site was introduced and the assignment was given. The concept was about creating a building that responds to the site’s topography — the descent of the building in conversation with the terrain — while also reflecting the need for community spaces embedded within a cluster of living units.

It was a quick sketch made in about five minutes, something casual I produced in class to discuss before the desk crit.
